Last year, Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry signed legislation passed by State Rep. Jacob Landry to end legacy lawsuits against oil and gas companies and bring good-paying oilfield jobs back to the Bayou State.
Now, operators are coming back to the Gulf of America, investing in more USA oil and gas production, and creating more jobs.
Trial lawyers have held Louisiana's oil and gas industry hostage for decades, driving investment dollars, revenue, and jobs out of the state and to foreign countries.
This week, SCOTUS unanimously voted to remove a coastal lawsuit out of a weaponized "judicial hellhole" and to federal court.
